A surprise party

David came home from work. The house was dark. He opened the door. Suddenly, the lights turned on. “Surprise!” his friends shouted. David smiled. It was his birthday. He forgot it. His sister made a cake. His best friend brought balloons. They played music. Everyone danced. David felt very loved. He thanked everyone. It was his best birthday ever.

David voltou do trabalho. A casa estava escura. Ele abriu a porta. De repente, as luzes se acenderam. “Surpresa!” seus amigos gritaram. David sorriu. Era seu aniversário. Ele havia esquecido. Sua irmã fez um bolo. Seu melhor amigo trouxe balões. Tocaram música. Todos dançaram. David se sentiu muito amado. Agradeceu a todos. Foi seu melhor aniversário de todos.
